Link of the Day – New York Small Business Blog

For the month of September, I am going to use my Link of the Day feature to highlight legal blogs that I think are interesting and useful. Some may not be directly related to personal injury or Social Security disability law, but all of us who represent injured and disabled people occasionally need help in other areas. Some are new, and some have been mentioned here before. Today’s entry is:

New York lawyer Imke Ratschko has a new blog called New York Small Business Law. The subject matter, obviously, is about New York small businesses. Attorney Ratschko focuses her practice on helping small domestic and international businesses, entrepreneurs and start-ups with their business transactions. She is fluent in German and has helped German businesses invest in the United States. You can find out more about her law firm at her firm’s Web site, ratschko.com.

Before opening her own law firm, Ms. Ratschko was an associate at Becker, Glynn, Melamed & Muffly LLP in New York City from August 1997 to January 2006. She holds an LL.M. in Trade Regulation from New York University School of Law, as well as a German law degree.

The first thing you will notice about her blog is the striking use of images. She has created not only a very helpful blog, but an extremely attractive one as well.

About This Blog

The title of this blog reflects my attitude toward those government agencies and insurance companies that routinely mistreat injured or disabled people. As a Dallas, Texas lawyer, I've spent more than 45 years trying to help those poor folk, and I have been frustrated daily by the actions of the people on the other side of their claims. (Sorry if I offended you...)
