For the month of September, I am going to use my Link of the Day feature to highlight legal blogs that I think are interesting and useful. Some may not be directly related to personal injury or Social Security disability law, but all of us who represent injured and disabled people occasionally need help in other areas. Some are new, and some have been mentioned here before. Today’s entry is:
Lawyer and technology consultant Ross Kodner has been mentioned here before. Ross is not only the best legal technology consultant in the country, but is also a terrific person. For years, he’s had one of the most informative Web sites, at MicroLaw.com, and has just entered the world of blogging with Ross Ipsa Loquitur.
Here is how Ross explains his ideas for the new blog:
It will be a collection of what I hope will be useful op-ed pieces, my thoughts on law practice management and technology issues, product reviews, latest articles and CLE materials, legal business understanding, corporate legal department technology, mobility topics, Paper LESS Office(tm) developments, case/practice management system comments/tips/ideas, document management, legal billing, interesting utilities, product announcements, a place to find out what’s happening at MicroLaw (some of the contributions will be from colleagues Renee Kodner with her popular Techno.Update and also Abraham Liebsch, showing his fascinating technical knowledge, and perhaps even summer intern Jordan Kodner, a linux buff and linguistics fanatic who is turning 15 this week).
Always lots to talk about, always new things happening. The famous (or infamous Solosez periodical called Ross’ Gadget Garage Sale will move to RIL. Also announcements about and recaps of speaking engagements.
It will also be a place where I’ll post updates on my new business, Factum – online legal tech and practice management CLE – which rolls out in mid-September – a number of you receiving this are already members of the faculty.
For those who share my tendency to automotive and vintage motorsport obsession, there may be a category cropping up with that focus.
This is one blog I will definitely be checking every day — and so should you.
