For the month of September, I am going to use my Link of the Day feature to highlight legal blogs that I think are interesting and useful. Some may not be directly related to personal injury or Social Security disability law, but all of us who represent injured and disabled people occasionally need help in other areas. Fighting The Good Fight is a blog published by Texas RioGrande Legal Aid. It’s about the uphill legal battles that poor people must fight day after day. Here is the description of the legal aid society:
Established in 1970, TRLA is a nonprofit organization that provides free legal services to low-income and disadvantaged clients in a 68-county service area that covers the southwestern third of the state, including the entire Texas-Mexico border region. TRLA’s mission is to promote the dignity, self-sufficiency, safety, and stability of low-income Texans by providing high quality legal services and related educational services.
