WhyVoteNow.org is a nonpartisan project to register voters and encourage them to actually cast a ballot. It’s shameful how many Americans don’t exercise their hard-won right to vote. Whatever your political affiliation, please register and vote this November. Here is a statement from the Web site:

Almost  one-half of Americans do not vote. Millions of qualified Americans are not even registered to vote. According to recent census data regarding voters and voting, the following reasons were listed as the top three reasons why people in America do not vote: First, people are not registered. Second, people do not know where to vote. Third, people do not believe that their  vote makes a difference.

With this year’s upcoming election being called “The  election to end elections,” we at WhyVoteNow.Org are making a difference by increasing participation in the process by educating, facilitating, and encouraging voter registration and voting among all Americans who are qualified to vote.

We at WhyVoteNow.Org believe that a true democracy is one where a substantial majority of its citizens participate in the process by voting. At this time, we need your support to assist in our over-all purpose in increasing voter participation in the process.

Our goal is to register over 500,000 voters before the October 6, 2008 registration deadline. In order to reach our goal, we are conducting voter registration drives.

About This Blog

The title of this blog reflects my attitude toward those government agencies and insurance companies that routinely mistreat injured or disabled people. As a Dallas, Texas lawyer, I've spent more than 45 years trying to help those poor folk, and I have been frustrated daily by the actions of the people on the other side of their claims. (Sorry if I offended you...)
