The CBS Evening News (2/20, story 8, 0:25, Couric) reported, “Tonight, the FDA reports three patients taking the psoriasis drug Raptiva have died of a rare brain infection. The FDA added its most serious warning to Raptiva four months ago, and regulators in Europe now say the drug’s benefits no longer outweigh the risk. Raptiva’s maker, Genentech, says it’s working with the FDA to protect patient safety.”
