March of the Blogs – Home Contractor vs. Homeowner

For the month of March, I am going to highlight blogs that I think are interesting and useful. Some may not be directly related to personal injury or Social Security disability law, but all of us who represent injured and disabled people occasionally need help in other areas. A few have been featured here before, but they keep getting better. Today’s entry in March of the Blogs:

Newton, Massachusetts attorney Andrea Goldman writes the Home Contractor vs. Homeowner blog. She provides excellent information for consumers who are dealing with contractors, and vice-versa. Andrea has a good background for this because she is a litigator who has represented both sides in homeowner-contractor disputes. She is also an arbitrator and mediator, and works hard to settle disputes before they end up in litigation.

Andrea’s blog and Web site are great resources to other lawyers who have these types of cases, and also great resources for both homeowners and contractors who are either in a dispute or trying to avoid a dispute.

About This Blog

The title of this blog reflects my attitude toward those government agencies and insurance companies that routinely mistreat injured or disabled people. As a Dallas, Texas lawyer, I've spent more than 45 years trying to help those poor folk, and I have been frustrated daily by the actions of the people on the other side of their claims. (Sorry if I offended you...)
