For the month of March, I am going to highlight blogs that I think are interesting and useful. Some may not be directly related to personal injury or Social Security disability law, but all of us who represent injured and disabled people occasionally need help in other areas. A few have been featured here before, but they keep getting better. Today’s entry in March of the Blogs:
Jennifer J. Rose and David Leffler write the intriguingly named Staring at Strangers blog. Their subjects include New York, Mexico, and anything between. You really never know what you’ll find here, but it’s always worth a look. Here is info from their bios:
Jennifer J. Rose was a solo practitioner practicing family law in Shenandoah, Iowa, for 20 years before moving to Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico, eight years ago. In that life, she was listed in Best Lawyers in America, rated AV by Martindale-Hubbell, and served a term as chair of the Iowa State Bar Association Family and Juvenile Law Section.
She has been editor-in-chief of GPSolo, the flagship magazine of the American Bar Association General Practice, Solo and Small Firm Division, for a decade; has served on the Section’s Council; and has served on too many committees and boards to enumerate. She is list manager of the Section-sponsored listserve Solosez. She has been a contributing editor to Matrimonial Strategist and Internet Law Researcher and regularly serves as a judge of Law Office Computing’s annual law firm Web site competition.
David Leffler, the East Coast half of the Staring at Strangers dynamic duo, lives and works in NYC. This gives him the opportunity to observe and report on the comings and goings of his fellow neurotic New Yorkers, a lifelong passion. While not publishing his observations on humanity, he has a business law practice in Manhattan.
