Baby Dies in Recalled Infant Seat

WPIX-TV New York reports the death of an “8-month-old New Jersey girl” as “the latest baby to die in a recalled infant recliner.” The recliner is the Nap Nanny, manufactured by Baby Matters LLC, which “is no longer in business and not accepting returns.”

The AP reports, “Parents, are being warned once again, not to use the chairs.” It also notes that it is illegal to sell the chairs.

WCBS-TV New York reports, “The girl’s death has prompted the U.S. Consumer and Product Safety Commission to urge parents and caregivers to stop using the Nap Nanny and Nap Nanny Chill Recliners immediately.”

From the new release of the American Association for Justice.

About This Blog

The title of this blog reflects my attitude toward those government agencies and insurance companies that routinely mistreat injured or disabled people. As a Dallas, Texas lawyer, I've spent more than 45 years trying to help those poor folk, and I have been frustrated daily by the actions of the people on the other side of their claims. (Sorry if I offended you...)
