Snapchat Sued After Teen Hits Driver At Over 100 MPH While Using The App

NBC Nightly News reported that in “a troubling twist in the nationwide epidemic of distracted driving,” phone app Snapchat is being sued after 18-year-old Crystal McGee allegedly hit “an Uber driver at more than 100 miles an hour while using a Snapchat feature that clocks your speed while taking a selfie.” NBC added Snapchat said in a statement to NBC News, “‘No snap is more important than somebody’s safety. We actively discourage the community from using the speed filter while driving.”

About This Blog

The title of this blog reflects my attitude toward those government agencies and insurance companies that routinely mistreat injured or disabled people. As a Dallas, Texas lawyer, I've spent more than 45 years trying to help those poor folk, and I have been frustrated daily by the actions of the people on the other side of their claims. (Sorry if I offended you...)
