Gorilla Glass to be Used in Cars

The AP reports that cars could soon be using Gorilla Glass, such as the lightweight kind used in smartphone. The material would allow car makers to reduce the weight of vehicles and improve fuel economy. “BMW AG was the first to use Gorilla Glass,” the article reports, adding that “the material formed an interior panel in the i8 hybrid sports car.” Ford Motor Co. “will be the first to use it for a windshield and rear window in the new Ford GT sports car,” the article adds. Gorilla glass will not be used for side windows in order to allow passengers to break them in the event of an emergency.

About This Blog

The title of this blog reflects my attitude toward those government agencies and insurance companies that routinely mistreat injured or disabled people. As a Dallas, Texas lawyer, I've spent more than 45 years trying to help those poor folk, and I have been frustrated daily by the actions of the people on the other side of their claims. (Sorry if I offended you...)
