NBC Nightly News reported on its nightly broadcast that more than 637,000 cars were flooded and damaged by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma, and some of those cars may be sold throughout the country to unsuspecting buyers. NBC advises car purchasers to check a prospective vehicle’s VIN number, as well as checking for condensation and rust.
