NHTSA Investigates Deadly Sudden Acceleration Accidents

The Winchester (TN) Herald Chronicle reports an accident involving a 2008 Kia on New Year’s eve left a woman and twin 7-year-old boys dead due to unintended sudden acceleration, which proved unstoppable. Meanwhile, in Ontario, Calif., “a Toyota Yaris slammed into another vehicle, killing five people, including a 7-year old boy who was a passenger in the Yaris. The driver of the Yaris is reportedly cooperating with investigators and indicated the vehicle’s brakes were not responding, and the accelerator seemed stuck down.” The NHTSA has agreed to look into both accidents.

About This Blog

The title of this blog reflects my attitude toward those government agencies and insurance companies that routinely mistreat injured or disabled people. As a Dallas, Texas lawyer, I've spent more than 45 years trying to help those poor folk, and I have been frustrated daily by the actions of the people on the other side of their claims. (Sorry if I offended you...)
