NHTSA Worried Customers Underestimated Ford’s Do-Not-Drive Order

The Wall Street Journal reports Heidi King, the Deputy Administrator at the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, is concerned that customers did not comprehend the urgency of Ford’s do-not-drive order for vehicles affected by the company’s Takata air bag recall. The Journal reports 40 million vehicles in the US have been recalled to replace Takata airbags, but only about half have been replaced, and the total number of vehicles recalled may reach 70 million.

From the news release of the American Association for Justice.

About This Blog

The title of this blog reflects my attitude toward those government agencies and insurance companies that routinely mistreat injured or disabled people. As a Dallas, Texas lawyer, I've spent more than 45 years trying to help those poor folk, and I have been frustrated daily by the actions of the people on the other side of their claims. (Sorry if I offended you...)
