The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that “the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall of more than 50,000 school buses.” The agency “says the bus seat backs were made with styrene blocks and they may not give enough impact absorption around the back of the seat frame.” According to NHTSA, the vehicles are not in compliance with federal safety requisites. The Journal-Constitution adds that the buses to which the recall applies are 2020 Thomas Built models.
