Study: SUVs More Likely to Kill Pedestrians Than Passenger Cars

Reuters reports a recent US insurance industry study indicates there’s a higher probability SUVs will hurt or kill pedestrians than passenger cars will. Sam Monfort, lead author of the study put out by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety on Tuesday, said SUVs “seem to be more deadly to pedestrians than cars are.” The study examined 79 crashes in a trio of Michigan cities.

About This Blog

The title of this blog reflects my attitude toward those government agencies and insurance companies that routinely mistreat injured or disabled people. As a Dallas, Texas lawyer, I've spent more than 45 years trying to help those poor folk, and I have been frustrated daily by the actions of the people on the other side of their claims. (Sorry if I offended you...)
